Wouldn’t you love to make a cute little knit dress that has fashion detailing but isn’t too fussy? If you answered yes, this design is for you! This design, by FROG Princess Fashions, is made especially for knit fabrics and has a swingy skirt with a close-fitting bodice and sleeves, characteristic of knits. It hangs just at the knee, with two additional hem lengths available, and features season-spanning elbow-length sleeves. Although the design is easy to stitch up, it has fashionable bow detailing at the center front and center sleeve band that give it a special touch.
This pattern is designed to fit 18 dolls such as American Girl®.
Recommended Fabrics: Knit fabrics, including tee-shirt, interlock, or similar weight knits
Supplies Needed:
• ¼ yd. of Interlock knit, tee-shirt knit, or similar weight knit fabric
• Matching thread
• New size 11 sewing machine needle
• 8” Hook and loop tape measuring ¼” wide
• Optional: Narrow width double-sided fusible hem tape
