Description
The Liberty Jane Aspen Party Dress is a great addition to your 14.5” doll s wardrobe! Design details include an empire waistline, rushed bodice detail, and two skirt variations! This beautiful party dress can be made from a variety of different fabrics including knit stretch mesh, tulle, chiffon, and other lightweight woven fabrics with a soft drape. The suggested lining fabrics include Lycra blend dance fabric, polyester blend linings, rayon or silk lining, and cotton lawn.
This versatile design can be used for any season! Make a Holiday dress, New Year’s dress, Easter dress, Tea Party dress, or just an every day play dress. The possibilities are endless!
View A – The blue dress features the ruched bodice and the free flowing circle skirt. It is lined with silver Lycra dance fabric – no hemming needed!
View B – The pink dress features the ruched bodice and bubble skirt variation. The dress fabric is a sequined tulle lined with a lightweight cotton lawn.
View C – The burgundy dress features a flat front bodice (the lining pattern piece is used for both layers). We chose a beaded fabric for the bodice, knit stretch mesh for the skirt and straps, and a polyester blend lining fabric.
This pattern is designed to fit 14.5 dolls such as WellieWishers™. Find the big sister pattern for 18 dolls such as American Girl® here.
- 1 3 yard of lightweight dress fabric
- 1 3 yard of lightweight lining fabric
- 1 3 4” piece of hook and loop tape
- 4 1 2” of 1 4 – 1 2 ” wide decorative trim or 22” of 1 2” wide ribbon for sash
